Job Description- Exempt- Full Time

The Treatment Director works independently under supervision of ED. As Treatment Director you will be responsible for the treatment and quality of care for the youth in placement. Provide continuous direction, assistance, and clinical oversight to those supervised. The Treatment Director also participates in on-call rotation with other Program Directors.
Location of duties:
The Treatment Director position is posted in Hazard, Mt. Sterling and Morehead Kentucky. Whoever is hired for this position can have an office located in any of the three offices but will be required to travel at least monthly to the other offices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Treatment Director will provide direct supervision to all therapists employed by Hope Hill.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Assist in training assigned staff, which includes, thorough and complete training for new therapists and assuring that the current therapists receive appropriate continuing
education.
● Provide direction to staff in the form of answers to problems and advice on performance and youth challenges from a therapeutic perspective.
● Conduct monthly supervision and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports. Work with other office staff to ensure there is office coverage daily.
● Supervise treatment plans, supervision plans and critical incident development and
reviews. Provide supervisory backup for the needs of treatment foster parents and staff. Participate in weekly consultation with Foster Care and Independent Living programs as well as weekly Program Directors meetings.
● Provide direction to therapists as needed during crisis intervention calls or situations.
● Fill in for various positions during an absence or vacancy of staff.
● Responsible for ensuring that youth’s therapy files and direct reports personnel files are in compliance at all times. Establish a routine schedule for performing file audits to
ensure cases are in compliance.
● Participate in disruption meetings for youth.
● Assist in the completion of CANS assessments as required by state regulations.
Breakdown and send out monthly CANS reports to staff to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
● Supervise Practicum/Intern Students
● Participate in DCBS and PCP meetings.
● If a therapist resigns from their position the Treatment Director will assume coverage and assignment responsibility for their caseload with the assistance from the ED.
● The Treatment Director receives LOC 114’s and will distribute them to the appropriate Program Director, Therapist and Case Manager.
● Treatment Director will monitor to ensure that all direct reports have current licenses as required and are meeting supervision requirements through their respective licensing board.
● The Treatment Director will assist in the arranging and signing of contracts with
independent contractors for direct reports supervision requirements.
● Other duties as required by the Executive Director.
Education and Experience:
● Master’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, child &
family studies, or other approved related field of human services.
● Preference given to those who are licensed as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
● Have at least five (5) years of total experience providing therapy, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience providing therapy to children with emotional or behavioral disabilities and their families.
● Previous experience working in Foster Care desired.
