Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Nights
Hours per pay period: 72
Weekends: Occasional Required

Job Summary: Provides patients with direct nursing care based on the nursing process and individual patient assessment needs.  Provide families of patients with emotional support, information and guidance in treating the identified patient.  Educate patients and families in areas of health and illness that maintain optimum levels of physical and emotional functioning. 
Education / Licensure: A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is required.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program is preferred.  All new-hire Associate Degree Registered Nurses (new graduate and experienced) are required to start an approved BSN program within two years of hire and complete an approved BSN program within five years of hire.  Kentucky/ Compact State licensed Registered Nurse required.  Specialized professional credentialing and other formal education as needed.  Effective September 1, 2017, current BLS through the American Heart Association, or a previously approved provider, will be required before employment. 
Experience:  Experience strongly preferred.
