Job Description
Front Desk Receptionist: Veterinarian Clinic
Job Duties, including but not limited to:
- Greeting and welcoming clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking patients in/out for appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby area
- Provide administrative support to the office staff as needed
-Answering clients questions about medications, preventative care, our policies and procedures
-Client callbacks
-Assist in cleaning the hospital
-Process payment transactions
-Relay appropriate information to/from clients
-Assisting the Doctor and staff as needed
-Process end-of-day transactions
-Maintaining proper notes in medical charts
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a front desk setting
- Proficient in computerized systems for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Strong calendar management skills to effectively schedule appointments
- Strong clerical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication and customer service skills
-High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years customer service experience
- Able to lift 30 pounds
- Basic Math and Writing skills
Job Types: Full-time and Part-time available, must be available to work at least one Saturday per month (8am-1pm)
