Event Description:
This course is for those students who have no experience with shooting or firearms but wish to buy a gun for personal defense in their home. It covers basic handgun types and operation. Choice of home defense firearms and Kentucky Law on the use of deadly force. The course is taught by certified NRA and State qualified instructors.Live fire exercises are included. If you do not own a firearm the school will provide one at no extra charge.
Cost is $50.00 including ammunition and a light lunch. This is a popular course for those wishing to learn basic home defense with a firearm and is good preperation for the more advanced CCDW courses.required for a concealed weapon permit. A certificate of training will be issued early booking is advised.
